How much does it affect my health when my spine is not aligned?
Staggering research has shown that there is a correlation in lifespan with having a spine that is not aligned versus one that is aligned. People whom are aligned can live up to 14 years longer compared to someone not aligned. The bodies systems work more efficiently with an aligned spine. All of the systems like your immune system, digestive system, hormonal system, cardiac system is all being controlled by your nervous system. When the nervous system is working properly you have higher odds of optimal health.
If I do not shoot X-Ray's isn't it dangerous to go on with care without them?
In fact it is the other way around; when your body is exposed to radiation hundreds of thousands cells die. Shooting X-Ray's has just been a common practice in our health industry that people forget how harmful they can be. This not only applies to X-Ray but medical imaging as a whole.* There are times when you need them and there are times you do not. Most of the time it s not nessary to shoot X-Ray's for Chiropractic care.
Essentially when an X-Ray is shot, an electron is shot through your body at the speed of light which harms the cells in your body. More information can be gathered other ways that is more valuable and does not harm your body at all.

If you do not shoot X-Ray then how can you tell if I need to get treatment?
Besides from being in pain there are several methods to look for misaligned areas of the body. Looking at movement in a specific area is the best way to see if it is misaligned. Feeling for muscle tone to see if it is balanced, posture and alignment gives you far more information than an X-Ray would ever do. All the X-Ray does is re-enforce that you have a problem which you already know you have. The way a Chiropractor treats you should be standardized based on the physical findings they have.

What is the difference between your Chiropractic and Massage?
First off is the level of training. In America, Chiropractors have similar academic requirements as a Medical Doctor would, therefore our understanding of the body will be much better than a massage therapist. Since Chiropractic addresses the nervous system and realigning your spine there is long term relief compared to a massage that offers short term relief. Massages release pain killing hormones in your body that last for a short while. Massages can also be more painful depending on the type of massage you are getting.
Both Chiropractic and massages are useful however both serve a different purpose or intention. Chiropractic helps the nervous system operate efficiently therefore preventing any aches and pain from occurring in my body in the first place. With people whom have aches and pain already, realigning the mechanics of the body corrects the core of the problem.
Falling sick and feeling pains are indicators that there is something seriously wrong with your body and that you should take care of it. Chiropractic offers long term relief and allows your body to at its optimum performance.
